Tis the Season to say, "Merry Christmas!"

Merry Christmas! All this politcal correctness that is sweeping the nation lately is really starting to get frustrating. When I hear that so many employess of businesses are being instructed to only say, "Happy Holidays," and not, "Merry Christmas," it makes me wonder where this is all heading. Come on, give me a break, it's a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. If that offends you, then don't celebrate Christmas.

The true purpose of Christmas is to celebrate the fact that God sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to come to this earth and live among sinful mankind. He lived a sinless life and was crucified on the cross of Calvary to pay the price for all our sins. He rose from the grave on the third day and then acsended up into heaven. The forteenth chapter of John tells us that Jesus will come again someday and receive us (those that have trusted Him as Savior to forgive them of their sins) to Himself, that where He is, we will be also. What a celebration that will be! The greatest gift available for Christmas is Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas!
